Thomson–East Coast Line — T302 / T311

Land Transport Authority · CREG EPB TBM · Ø6.6 m

Overview

The Thomson–East Coast Line runs 43 kilometres entirely underground — one of the world's longest driverless metro lines. On contracts T302 and T311, four CREG earth-pressure-balance machines drove the twin running tunnels.

Two of our three founders worked these contracts, including T311 under Yu Sin Engineering — the affiliation that continues today. The work covered the full rhythm of production tunnelling: excavation, ring build, grouting and the relentless logistics that keep a drive on programme.

Scope of Works

  • TBM operation across day and night shifts
  • Segment erection and ring-build quality control
  • TBM maintenance and breakdown response
  • Tunnel services extension and logistics
