Downtown Line 2 & 3 — C919 / C925 / C927

Overview

The Downtown Line pushed TBMs through some of Singapore's hardest ground — the Bukit Timah granite and its unpredictable transition zones. Contracts C919, C925 and C927 deployed Herrenknecht and Robbins machines to get through it.

Our director Mohammad Zahirul Islam worked these drives under Sembawang Engineering, Sambo E&C and CMC Ravenna, experience that included hard-rock cutter management and the patient, methodical mining that mixed-face granite demands.

• EPB TBM operation in granite and mixed-face ground
• Intensive disc-cutter inspection and replacement cycles
• Machine maintenance and downtime recovery
• Ring build and grouting quality control
